Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through a difficult childhood. To get rid of an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left her when she was barely 2 years old. Pickler was reunited with her mother in 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. The situation did not work out the way she had hoped. When Pickler aged 12, the court returned her to her grandparents, which raised her to adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her children in their absence.
