Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned an impact as an accomplished director on several well-known television series like Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there since.
