Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. In the beginning she began as an assistant in photography. In the future, her career shifted to modeling and directing. She received the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office around the globe. In 1972, her footprints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
